Rubber Goods Testing

The CEEUS rubber testing lab operates to meet ASTM D120, F496, D1050, and F496 requirements for rubber insulating gloves and sleeves. Our testing services and processes are built to help keep lineman safe and protected when operating high-powered electrical voltage, giving them the confidence to complete the job safely. As many glove suppliers do not perform new glove tests, CEEUS tests new gloves as well as retest gloves before gloves leave the facility to ensure defects did not occur while in inventory.

GLOVE TESTING PROCESS

3 EASY STEPS

1. SCHEDULE GLOVE TEST

  • Send your gloves to our testing center.
  • Gloves are checked in, machine washed then dried to disinfect and remove contaminants.
  • After preparation, gloves are moved to the testing phase.

2. WE TEST YOUR GLOVES

  • Gloves are visually inspected for cracks, scratches, holes, and other defects.
  • Gloves submerged in water where the appropriate voltage is applied and gloves are electrically tested.
  • Passing gloves are stamped and prepared for a final inspection.

3. YOU WORK WITH CONFIDENCE

  • In the final inspection, a certified technician inspects gloves for correct stamping.
  • We send a detailed test report and return your gloves carefully packaged for safe delivery.
  • You use your gloves with confidence.
