Caleb Hughes

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
My teammates have been working here for almost a year and they highly recommended CEEUS as a place to work. I wanted to learn more about the supply chains and what steps it takes behind the scenes to get things done.
What is the most valuable thing you learned this summer?
How to create a product number and how to ship/receive items. Also, how to handle when products go missing or
over/under shipment.
What advice would you give to future interns?
This place is like a family, and everyone will help you out to get you up to speed. If you ever need something, they are here for you. Everyone is extremely helpful. Come prepared to learn and bring forth great work ethic, it helps build upon the culture that is established here.

Gabe Altman

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
I was initially drawn to CEEUS by its rapid growth in recent years, particularly its expansion into the VMD market and its continued success across South Carolina. As someone passionate about energy systems and sustainable infrastructure, I saw this internship as a valuable opportunity to apply my academic knowledge to real-world challenges while contributing to a company at the forefront of utility innovation.
What surprised you most about your internship with CEEUS?
What surprised me most during my internship was realizing how closely CEEUS’s work is connected to the everyday amenities we often take for granted. It gave me a new appreciation for the critical role a distributor plays in maintaining a reliable and efficient supply chain—especially in industries where consistency and responsiveness are essential.

Austin Engman

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
I wanted to stay somewhere in Columbia and work somewhere in my Supply Chains field. In addition, CEEUS being an electric co-op piqued my interest as I want to run my own agricultural
co-op one day.
What advice would you give to future interns at CEEUS?
Treat your coworkers like friends, and that is what they will become. It’s better to work with your friends anyway!
What are your career goals after graduation?
My life goal is to own and operate my own Mutual Aid Cooperative Fund for family-owned agricultural businesses across America. This means that we can do a number of things to revitalize American Farming and help out farms that have a tough year.
What is something you’d like others to know about you?
I can speak, read, & write Arabic. (Both Formal Standard & Egyptian)

Brian Cotter

What surprised you most about your internship with CEEUS?
How much I would enjoy my day to day for 40 hours a week.
What are your career goals after graduation?
I would like to contribute to operational efficiency within businesses, focusing on optimizing project progression and
enhancing overall daily capacity through task management.

Enlightening.

Aryan Bhasin

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
I wanted to intern at CEEUS because it offered a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both supply chain and business systems within a real-world distribution environment. I was especially interested in working with tools like Infor Cloud Suite and seeing how ERP systems support daily operations across departments.
What is the most valuable thing you learned during your internship?
The most valuable thing I learned during my internship at CEEUS was how to approach problem-solving from a process-driven perspective. Whether I was analyzing help desk tickets, improving workflows in Infor CloudSuite, or working on data cleanup and system configurations.
How would you describe your internship in one word?
Impactful.

Wyatt Proctor

What surprised you most about your internship with CEEUS?
I was surprised by how welcomed and involved we were. We were able to attend real meetings
and be filled in about ongoing issues. Our projects were also valuable, which made us feel as though we were contributing to the business and not just given busy work.
What is the most valuable thing you learned during your internship?
Transparency and communication across departments, along with an understanding of their different perspectives, are crucial for successful operations.
What advice would you give to future interns at CEEUS?
My advice to future interns would be to make an effort to fully understand the business and the processes that drive them. Ask as many questions as you can and be a sponge because there are many opportunities to learn a multitude of different things while here.
What is something you’d like others to know about you?
I can juggle.

William White

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
I knew that I would learn fundamental concepts of inventory management and how other business functions within CEEUS could impact our overall supply chain.
What is something you’d like others to know about you?
I am an avid thrifter and would love to build a storage unit business one day.
What are your career goals after graduation?
I want to continue to grow my online store and personal brand while gaining a better understanding of business fundamentals from the companies I work with.

Mark Romano

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
I chose to intern at CEEUS because I knew I would get an experience like no other. My goal was to build meaningful connections and gain exposure to different areas of the company—not only to decide on career path, but also to develop personal and professional skills that will benefit me in the future.
What is the most valuable thing you learned during your internship?
The most valuable lesson I learned during my internship is the importance of recognizing and leveraging my strengths to make meaningful contributions to a team.
How would you describe your internship in one word?
Transformative.

Josh Taylor

What surprised you most about your internship with CEEUS?
I was really surprised with the entire onboarding process and how special CEEUS made me feel with all the food and gifts, even the workload given to me at CEEUS showed me that a lot of trust and expectations are given to the interns.
What is the most valuable thing you learned during your internship?
CEEUS has provided me with an opportunity to see the processes of supply chain from a real-life perspective and not from a classroom. My office sat above the warehouse with a window looking into it, so each day I could see the effects of all day-to-day operations and gain a better understanding of.
What advice would you give to future interns at CEEUS?
Talk and learn from everyone regardless of their position. Don’t be afraid to talk to supervisors and managers to learn from them, and don’t underestimate what you can learn from people who are working at entry level. Always be curious and inventive in the way you obtain new information.

Matthew Davidson

What is the most valuable thing you learned during your internship?
The most valuable thing I learned during my internship is the importance of teamwork. When every individual and department work together towards a common goal, great things can happen.
What is something you’d like others to know about you?
I am a proud 1X reigning champion of the summer intern bowling event.
What surprised you most about your internship with CEEUS?
I was surprised to see how tight-knit the family is at CEEUS. The relationships I made throughout my internship gave me the confidence I needed to grow and learn professionally.

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
I wanted to be a part of an organization that encourages growth, both personally and professionally. The positive and welcoming atmosphere was another large factor as to why I
wanted to be a part of the CEEUS family.

After graduation, I hope to begin my career in the finance field. My long-term goal is to gain the skills and understanding to then start my own business based off one of my passions. I am motivated to combine my financial experience with my entrepreneurial spirit in order to contribute to the community.

Why did you want to intern at CEEUS?
The main thing I wanted was to learn more about data science, how it’s being used in a corporate setting, and gain experience in this field.
What is the most valuable thing you learned during your internship?
Technical skills like SQL and Power BI usage, and the soft skills of navigating a corporate environment.
What is something you’d like others to know about you?
I play D&D and write in my off time.
What are your career goals after graduation?
Becoming a data analyst/investigator.

What is the most valuable thing you learned during your internship?
The most valuable things I have learned at CEEUS were process mapping, along with seeing how the business operates throughout the whole company through meetings and 1-on-1s. For my personal growth, I have learned to ask more questions and be more curious about everything that happens within the company. This skill has made learning more enjoyable and easier, both in school and in the business world.
What surprised you most about your internship with CEEUS?
What surprised me most about my internship at CEEUS was the positive culture in the company immediately when I got here. The trust they gave the interns made the whole experience very fulfilling, as the level of work I got to do helped me learn a lot in my field of study.
What are your career goals after graduation?
I would like to be a Data Analyst after I graduate.
